September is an excellent month for fishing dryfly in Glomma
The grayling is eager to get food before the winter, and takes "everything".
Are you familiar with the river, "blindfishing" may give good results.
Two years ago, on sept. 25., I took a grayling weighing 1.0 kg on the ant.
Try these flies as well:

One of my own creations. Trout near to 4 kg has rised to this fly,
and the biggest fish I have had on in Glomma took this fly with him. My 4. choice.
Tying/Materials:
- Hook:Partridge GRS3A, size # 14-18.
- Tread:Brown.
- Tale:none
- Body:Orange small New Dub(dubbingbrush). Ty in at the hook bend, go forward with the tread, and turn the dub tight around the hook. Stop after 2/3 hooklength.
- Wing:Fantastic Caddis(Mustad) or Sedge Wing, synthetic material which is folded double and clipped dropformed to make a symmetric wing. Ty in to make a roof over the body.
- Hackle:"Light brown cockhackle tied tradionally around the hook in front of the wing.
